Freeze Dried Rose Petals
Freeze Dried rose petals can be used in place of fresh
rose petals. Freeze dried rose petals retain color and texture
of fresh, but because they are dried there is less risk of
staining to carpets, linens and floors. Freeze dried rose petals
are often more accepted by churches and reception halls.
Uses for freeze dried rose petals:
Guest Toss
-fill cones or bags with petals for guests to toss.
Table Decorations
-sprinkle on guest,
buffet and cake tables for added decoration.
Flower Girl Baskets
-give little girls something to
toss as they walk down the aisle.
Potpourri
-add other dried items to make potpourri
for guests to take home.
Around The Home
-bathrooms, romantic rendezvous.
Quantities
The following suggestions are approximate uses for a one-ounce box of petals.
The actual usage will depend upon each individuals look, size of flower girl
basket, tables, cones, etc…
Table decorations
60 inch round tables – approximately 1 box for 4 tables
Cake table or sign-in table – approximately a ½ box per
table
Flower girl baskets – approximately a ½ box for a single
flower girl basket
Guest toss – approximately 1 box per 30 guests.
(Approximately 10 petals to a cone, tulle
bag or clear envelope.)
